Forest Light Technology

Green light relieves anxiety. A Harvard study showed that talk therapy in rooms lit by 520nm green light eased generalized anxiety symptoms. Similar benefits show up in dental offices and in kids with access to green spaces. A new mouse study points to glutamate-signaling neurons in the brain as the mechanism.

Clinical trials show green light therapy results in significant reductions in pain from migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis. Researchers have never tested green wavelengths that correspond to the natural light environment of the shady forest. Only MyGreen provides 530 nm and 545 nm green.

Dozens of patients recruited to a new study in Halifax, Nova Scotia reported a significant reduction in arthritis pain scores after using narrowband green LEDs as an ambient light therapy for an average of 73 minutes a day.
