MyGREEN BASKING LAMP

There is an acute need for a narrowband, LED ultraviolet phototherapy lamp for at-home use that provides optimal wavelengths for Vitamin D production and the skin protection offered by red and infrared wavelengths.  Such a lamp could be safer, more economical, and more effective than the Sperti lamp. Moreover, coupling the UV with existing red and infrared phototherapy technologies could provide additional protective benefits to users.

The lamp pictured is a test prototype.  It is not cleared by the FDA for marketing as safe or effective for any human use.

The Basking Lamp will support Vitamin D synthesis and a base tan.  However, it is not a tanning lamp, nor a Vitamin D lamp, because it does not deliver UVB radiation in isolation.  It is for basking, like reptiles do in the sun.  The Basking Lamp combines UV with the protective and therapeutic benefits of NIR and other wavelenghts.

Basking Lamp has 900 LEDs:

NIR/Amber mode 970nm 810nm 590nm.

UV/Green mode 310nm 355nm 550nm

The Basking Lamp is designed to provide the next best thing to natural sunshine and the shady forest.
